Personal Statement
My name is Kijana Lloyd and I am a 2023 LSM/Defender. I always strive to be the best version of myself, whether that's on or off the field. Though I am far from perfect, I believe the key to success is constant progress through hard work. Above all else, I am a child of God and I do my best to honor Him in everything I do. He has blessed me with everything in my life and I pray that he continues to bless me with the health to play the sport I love.
I believe in the phrase “discipline equals freedom”. Though it takes time to get used to, I have always thrived in an environment of discipline. I train myself every day, mentally, physically, and spiritually, in discipline because I know the power that it can have on my life. Outside of lacrosse, I enjoy lifting and creating mini achievements for myself (learning to jump rope, photo editing, doing my first muscle-up, etc.). My major goals are to play lacrosse at the highest level possible for myself, earn a college degree, and be able to enjoy my career. I look forward to playing college lacrosse with a brotherhood of teammates.
