Seven years ago I begged my parents to let me play lacrosse, it was a sport I didn't know anything about. I watched it on Youtube, read articles, magazines and went to local lacrosse games. Eventually my parents let me join my local Police Athletic League (PAL). I went to the PAL summer camps and learned as much as I could. I continued to play soccer, a sport I played since I was 4. Soccer is a great and I played for my high school team, playing goalie for the past 5 years. Last year I decided to play on the Men's Varsity Golf team, I have played Golf for the past couple of years, mainly with my dad at local courses. I am really enjoying playing on the Varsity team and made Captain. I know it will be a sport I will be playing the rest of my life. But Lacrosse is my PASSION. I started with one stick and then another, 2 nets in my front yard, and everyday I am out there with a stick in my hand. School and lacrosse are my # 1 priority. I know keeping my GPA at a 3.6 average will help me with college recruiting. Currently, I am taking honors and AP courses and they require a lot of time and dedication, but I want a college scholarship and I will continue to hard work in order to get one. I believe sports will always be a part of my future as I would like to explore the careers of sports medicine and sports training.
