I have been incredibly fortunate to be coached and taught by individuals that valued academics and character over everything. Those character traits emphasized early and often, then translated into becoming the best possible teammate I can be for any team I play on. I'm eager to learn from my teammates, coaches, and professors, while hopefully bringing something to each of these environments that can help those around me.
As an athlete, specifically an aggressive attacker, the biggest strengths I bring to my prospective team is an assist first mentality while completely committing to the ride. Everyone can score, but I've always been taught that the best way to be part of a team is to elevate those around you.
My goals as a collegiate athlete are simple. Compete at the next level as part of a true team, create a set of relationships with my teammates and coaches that carry on beyond college, while testing myself on the field and in the classroom. My goals academically are to apply the teamwork skills learned on the field into my chosen career path. Work ethic is the key to success in the classroom and on the field, so the two are connected.
