1st Half Spring 2024Personal Statement
My name is Will Ahmuty. I am a rising junior in high school who plays lefty attack for Rebels Chrome 2025. I attend Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington, NY, where I started a majority of varsity games at attack in a season where we made it all the way to the Nassau Class A County Championship. Strong academics are the most important thing for me when it comes to college, and this reflects in my course load as I take as many AP and honors classes as I can while still managing to get A’s at the minimum. A competitive lacrosse team is also important for me when looking at schools because I want to go somewhere I can showcase all of my hard work. I also run varsity cross country, where I earned All-County awards both my freshman and sophomore year, along with varsity winter track. I want to attend a college that has a great academic program as well as a great lacrosse program, and I'm working hard to make that happen.
