I’ve played baseball most of my childhood. One day a friend asked me to come play lacrosse for his club team that was lacking players. I did, I ended up loving the sport and the rest is history. Starting my freshman year I knew that if I wanted to play lacrosse in college, it would require hard work and determination. My dad built a wall and we had flood lights so I could practice into the night, when nobody else was. My sophomore year, the high school I attend started a lacrosse team. We started with about 15 players. I lead player practices on the weekends throughout the year and participated in feeder camps at the middle schools for the next 2 summers. The next season our team doubled in size and this year we have about 15 new players signed up.
Sports have taught me the value of team work, leadership, commitment and sacrifice.I believe that I not only have the athletic ability to compete on a college team, but the work ethic, leadership skills and character to make an impact on your program.
I am A/B honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society (inducted during junior year). Presently dual enrolled with Technical College of the Lowcountry. I aspire to study Criminology or Criminal Justice.
