I started wrestling in 8th grade out of wanting to try a sport and I heard that wrestling season was starting which sounded interesting to me. Ever since then I have developed as a person and an athlete. Working hard on the mat allowed me to grow discipline and confidence but also helped me to become a better student who is always up for a challenge and willing to learn. Competing in college will not only allow me to grow my wrestling skills further but also allow me to continue my passion for learning.
