My name is Carter McLaughlin and I specialize in face-offs and midfielder. I played three sports at Del Oro High School my Freshman year, 2021-2022. I played football along with playing varsity wrestling and lacrosse. I recently moved to Whitehouse TX and attend Whitehouse High School. I will continue playing 3 sports through high school. Sophomore year of wrestling, I was State Runner-Up in the 138 pound weight class. As a Junior, I received Texas Wrestler of the Week, and Outstanding Wrestler at a tournament. In Lacrosse, I was the starting faceoff middie. I won “Tyler Best Prep Student Athlete” for lacrosse. In football, I am a varsity WR. On top of athletics, I am very academically motivated. I am a part of the National Honors Society, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.
My goal is to continue playing lacrosse in college. I love the game and love to compete. I will bring good character to the team, and I can be the leader of the team. Along with playing the sports I love, I enjoy serving and participating in Church services and events. What separates me from other players is my work ethic and attitude. I am always working to put 100% effort into everything I do, and I look to improve. I bring up the players that I play with and look to help them improve with me. I am very motivated physically and mentally. Finally, I understand what a leader looks like, and I strive to be one.
