Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Christian Castetter and I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. My current goal is to get into a college that suits me and helps me become an even better soccer player. The sport is my life; when I’m not playing soccer I’m watching it, playing FIFA, or training. I always give my best on the field no matter what the scoreboard is and no matter what people say. I do best on the field when I’m on the outside, left or right, because that’s where I can show my pace (my greatest attribute) and either get a shot off or provide service into the box. I also play striker alot. Since I began playing, I’ve mostly played an attacking role in all my teams, but I’m capable of playing in any position needed; a good player can play anywhere. I strive to be the best I can be on and off the field, in the classroom, during workouts, but most importantly, in my head. I always have an optimistic view of my game and know that I can always get better. I don’t ever want to stop playing this sport. Soccer is my life.
