Rahul Misra '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rahul Misra. I am a 2006 born soccer player, graduating high school in 2024. My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level. 

I currently play for Calgary Rangers Soccer Club, in the tier 1 league in Calgary, Alberta. I usually play as a fullback, but can also play as both a wingback or as a center back. My love and passion for the game is unprecedented. I am extremely hardworking and am always willing to put in extra effort in order to make myself a better player. I always train with the most intensity possible, and leave everything on the pitch in order to improve myself as a player. I make an effort to always attend every team practice, fitness session, and game. On top of this, I work with a strength and conditioning coach twice a week and also attend weekly training sessions with Coach Graham Fisher at One Up Soccer Academy in order to further improve my skills. 

On top of soccer, academics are very important for me. Throughout high school, I have maintained a GPA of 4.0. I plan to study kinesiology/exercise science or business at the post secondary level. I am planning to take the required courses in order to be considered for these programs. I take every class seriously, and I was on the honour roll in grade 10 as well as also being on the honour roll for all three years in junior high school as well.
