Although this passing season of winning league and CIF Southern Section is definitely the pinnacle of my soccer career as of now, the most influential experiences that define who I am as a player are those of the years leading up to that season in which both club and JV high school soccer allowed me to excel as a player from both a technical and mental aspect. During my Freshman and Sophomore years I was not put on the Varsity roster and I was frustrated at first, however these experiences allowed me to reevaluate what I wanted from high school soccer so that I could be successful in the future. Fortunately, this success did eventually arise my Junior year in which we won both league and CIF for the first time in the school's history.
I am looking for a program that is a good fit athletically, but most of all a good fit academically since that is a central element of college life. I see myself as someone who is talented both in the classroom and on the field and can adapt to a variety of situations in both arenas. Also, as a two sport athlete I treasure the values of teamwork and leadership. Throughout my numerous years of playing soccer for both club and high school, I have learned that I have the ability to change the speed and energy of a game through the differing urgency of my passes.
