Sports has always been a huge part of my life ever since the age of 5. Ever since my first touch of a basketball I fell in love with the game. I have been playing consistently ever since and have ramped up how many games I’ve played especially in these past few years which includes a year of varsity at my high school and numerous club games. I had earned most valuable player at my respective levels the previous two years leading up to varsity. In the classroom I am a very eager learner and always looking to improve especially now when it is time to looking into colleges which I am very excited about and where I can push myself in the classroom and hopefully on the court. My experiences in life on and off the court have helped me tremendously. On the court I have learned how to deal with pressure weather it is from the heat of the moment in a game or from my very own coach. Off the court there have been many cases in my life where I have felt great deals of pressure leading up to an event or school presentation where I am almost used to it now and explains how well I do in the classroom with my 3.4 GPA. My future goals especially with schools are to eventually play at the collegiate level and graduate from that school with a degree so then it could set me up with a good job opportunities wherever it may lead me. On my past teams I have had some leadership role but I am expected to take a much larger role this coming season going into my senior year and I am well prepared for that role. With that role I am hoping to inspire and influence the underclassmen in the program who are trying to make it to the level I am currently on.The big influences in my life are my loving parents who have taught me all my morals, manners, etc. and I would not be who I am without them. I also looked up to my late brother when he played basketball in at my current high school I wanted to be in his position and I always feel some sort of deja vu or nostalgia being on that court thinking of him. I have learned that I am an especially hard and agressive worker when it comes to this sport and I love putting in the work everyday to get better. On the court I posses a nice hard drive to the rim with a variety of strong finishes, an avid rebounder where I am especially physical, and a high basketball IQ especially when it includes involving my teammates.
