Andy (Macsen) Hayden '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Macsen Hayden and I am a 2025 Forward from Los Angeles, CA. I have been playing soccer as long as I can remember and love being on the field – it’s a world of its own, an escape from the day-to-day grind. Being able to play at college would let me keep living the dream. One of my biggest attributes is my speed. My explosiveness on the field is a great contribution to any team. But I am calm and confident on the ball. Along with that I have great vision and tactical knowledge. I can see things on the field that benefit my team. I have a real passion for the game and love winning, but I am also a team player. Once on a team, I would hope to build connections with all my teammates and coaches. Building a family-like relationship is something I think is crucial to successful teams. I treat my teammates and coaches with respect and have a great attitude on and off the field. I am not selfish and put the team before myself. In the classroom, I am just as focused on accomplishment with my studies, as you must perform both on the pitch and in the classroom. All of this along with my skills and technical abilities make me a powerful addition for any team. I would continue to grow as an individual player and student. Lastly, I would hope to have fun and of course try to win it all and become champions with my team!
