Hi, I'm Cameron Turner, I had the opportunity of playing four years for the St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Soccer team and looking to transfer as I have received a Medical Hardship Waiver from the NCAA. I was the second string goalkeeper for three years and started my senior year. In my junior year of play, I had unfortunately ended my season early due to an elbow sprain injury, but quickly recovered in order to fight for the first string spot. I received the first string spot for my hard working and presentable play efforts. I played in all 16 games of my senior season accumulating 76 saves with a 1.96 goals against average, ranking #35 in NCAA D2 Men's Soccer in total saves. I believe I have the potential to play at a D1 or D2 college program and I am looking to experience one last incredible season. One of my great attributes on the field is my physical presence in the box in the air and on the ground making grabs in crowded and 1v1 situations, and vocally by giving direction to the back line. I am a hard worker on the field, just as I am off the field also, constantly in the gym, dieting and watching game video to see areas I can improve on. My teammates/coaches at St. Thomas Aquinas College can all agree I am a great leader on and off the field.
In my high school career, I previously attended St. Margaret's Episcopal College Prep for my Freshman and Sophomore years. I later transferred to Mission Viejo High School my junior and senior.
I played under Roger Castle Sr. at Mission Viejo High School and also coached at St. Margaret's High School under Andrew May.
I played for Mission Viejo Strikers FC under my high school coach and his son, Roger Castle Jr. I played with the club for about 3 years as the starting Goalkeeper. I played in my 13/14 season in U16 Tier 2, in my 14/15 season U17 Tier 1 and played up a Division in U18/U19 Tier 1. I won with my team the ISA National College Showcase and have been finalists in the Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase and the Milan SC Raincross Cup.
I hope all these points for my soccer and education level give you all the information about me, if not please feel free to contact me by email and/or by phone. If you haven't already please look at my highlight video, there will be more coming as well as my skills video. I hope you find me as a good fit to your program.
