Dillon Clarke '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dillon Clarke, I’m class of 2024 from Colorado Springs, CO and I play Outside Back. 

I'm currently on the roster for the Switchbacks FC Championship Team In Colorado Springs, CO as an academy player on contract. I was named top 11 at the USL Academy 2024 Tournament and made 1ST Team.

 I am extremely passionate about winning.  I play soccer due to my endless love of the most popular and entertaining sport in the world. I aspire to be a model student athlete and to also further my academic and athletic development to elite standards. 

I pride myself on improving myself!

 I have a great relationship with my  coaches and teammates. They are a big part of helping me grow as a player. My coaches say I am highly coachable and a practice warrior ! I have a strong will to do anything I set my mind to, always give it my all, and I love to win. I express my skill and capabilities on the soccer field. I believe that I am a dynamic and technical player. 

My strengths are dribbling, passing, finishing, control of the ball, and vision of the game. One of the key things you need to strive in the midfield is awareness, the ability to know whats around you. I have exceptional awareness allowing me to see all parts of the field and be able to reach most players. I am a good teammate on and off the field.

I’ve been through everything in terms of soccer, so I am able to connect with  anyone. I am a leader, setting up and motivating the team during games and practices.   I’m also extremely driven and disciplined including my nutrition on and off the field.
