I have played soccer since the age of 5 years old starting with town recreational leagues, then town travel leagues and now for my high school soccer team and Connecticut Football Club premier league. Soccer has showed me discipline, confidence, dedication, strong mental and physical agility, and of course being a team player. I have played many different positions on the field such as forward, midfielder, defense, and my current position as goal keeper. One huge asset I will bring to your program is not only my competitive athletic skills but my mental motivation to achieve performance goals especially as GK. I am realistic as well as super ambitious in all that I do including my academic performance. I would love to play for a D1 level college and major in business management. My drive to succeed is like no other and I understand how important my attitude, behavior, academic and athletic performance not only is a reflection of me but reflects my team and my school. I will carry this understanding with me to any college I attend and I cant wait to prove myself!

Constantly checking over shoulders on and off ball allows for quick decisions. Defensive Awareness - Understands team defensive schemes, shows understanding of positioning and angles. Physical Abilities - 89 / 100 Agility - Showed good agility. Good body positioning and footwork helped you change directions quickly. Balance - Seemed to handle the challenges you faced well. Good job staying on your feet and not getting knocked off the ball. Mental Abilities - 92 / 100 Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Coach's Comments Michael is a very hard-working and coachable player. He has great footwork that helps him get across the net rather quickly. He also has strong hands and can control his rebounds. He gets low quickly and can make some big saves. This will help you control your box on high balls. Box jumps are a great exercise for this. A huge area for any GK. You must be loud and direct with your communication with your team. I think you have a lot of great and need to always remember you'll need to prove to yourself every day that you can compete and that starts with the desire to get better every day.
