I have wrestled for 6 years i started when I was 7 years old. Not knowing what i was doing I quickly fell in love with the sport. I have worked for the past six years trying to get a state title. My 3rd year of wrestling i was taken out because of a dislocated collar bone, This only made me want to work more and the next year I came back and took 3rd place at the state open. This experience taught me that hard work pays off and the next year after that I came back the next season thinking it was my season to win it all and in the semi finals of the state open I was illegally thrown and got temporarily palatalized on my left side. I went through the recovery process and came back and met some new people, trained with some new people and worked more off the mat with my mentality and in school more than ever. With constantly having higher than 3.0 GPA I am constantly shooting for the highest Grades possible and do as much school work as I can and try not to miss any assignments. But this year every change I made in my life after my latest injury led to My goal of winning a 2020 Connecticut state title. I think my mentality does it all and the fact that I always know improvement is possible It pushes me further.
