I am a 6’3”, 165 pound senior from Tolland High School, located in Tolland, Connecticut. Soccer has always been a big part of my life, having played since I was in elementary school. This includes stints in the Tolland Soccer Club all the way through to my senior year at Tolland High School. Along the way I played premier soccer for Connecticut Football Club (CFC) and Celtic FC. For CFC I played out wide defensively and as I grew older I played that position as well as outside midfield. During my final season with CFC, my team was ranked 17th nationally. Through my middle school years (grades 7 and 8) I took on cross country and track as well as continuing to play soccer. As I entered high school, I decided to focus on running and did not play soccer during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I missed the game immensely and returned to soccer for my senior year, earning a spot on the Varsity team due to my hard work and motivation in the offseason to join a team that needed depth and strength out wide in the midfield. I soon found myself in the starting lineup at both outside midfield and striker. Our team made it to the second round of the state championship, where we lost a tough game in double overtime. Throughout the season and experience I had two goals and two assists, including two game-winning goals. I felt in my heart that my motivation was back and I wanted to pursue soccer post-high school.
