Leonardo Sarzi Braga '25 Recruiting Profile

Currently a sophomore with a 4.18 GPA (6.595 IB GPA based on my school's International Baccalaureate 7-point system). I would like to continue a high standard of education as well as continue my soccer career in college. I've been told I'm a very understanding and patient person. I coach younger athletes and like passing along my passion to the next generation. 

My passion for soccer started when I was five, as I played in a club team in Italy. I have traveled a lot around the world, this has helped me gain a higher soccer IQ. I have played in: London, Milan, and currently in the USA. I have taken these experiences and helped them form my knowledge and further my game study. Consequently, I have become smarter, more patient, and a higher skillset player. 

In addition, this has helped me become a versatile player who can adapt to many circumstances that the game needs. Since I started playing at a higher level (U13-Present), I have played; Center-Defensive Mid, Center back, Left and Right Wing, and Left back. I usually play the #3 with both my club and high school teams. I am a natural Left-Footed player with the ability to use my right at a high level. 

2021-2022: My club team and made the Maryland State Cup Semi-Finals and earned State 3rd Place.

2022 Fall: I was a starter on my high school team as a Left back on a starting #11 full of Juniors and Seniors. We were conference champions, going 8-0 (PVAC). Our team made the DCSAA-State Finals and were Runners-Up. The record we had at the end of the season was 17-1-1.
