Adam Waich '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Adam Waich, born and raised in Miami, Florida, with roots in Venezuela where both my parents were born and lived for 20 years. They instilled in me a strong sense of respect, hard work, sportsmanship and dedication in all that I do. I demonstrate these characteristics and more: openness to take criticism, humility, teamwork, and willingness to fight. On my club team, FBS FC, I have been appointed captain for three years in a row. I consider myself a natural born leader who has a passion for soccer and a drive to become better and better. I strive to be a role model for my teammates and promote optimism and positivity daily in both practices and games. 

To be a student-athlete at the collegiate level would be a dream come true. I thrive off of being challenged, both in the classroom and on the field. Academically, I am gifted in mathematics and love anything to do with numbers. In fact, I plan to take AP Calculus and AP Statistics by the time I graduate from high school, while successfully completing a total of 12-15 AP classes. In college, I plan on studying subjects related to finance, applied mathematics and statistics, and possibly sports management. What sets me apart from other recruits is that while I am a student-athlete, the student part comes first and foremost. I take great care with my studies and I am very proud that I currently have a cumulative 4.66 weighted grade point average.
