My goal is to play high-level soccer in college, assisting on the field in any way that I can. I have been exposed to and trained in all positions of competitive soccer. I currently specialize in defensive responsibilities. Including delaying, channelization, acting as 1st and 2nd defender, tackling, counterattacking, and support of the goalkeeper. I am skilled in defensive techniques, including delaying, heading, slide tackling, and shielding. I am skilled with both right and left feet. I have high intensity, high concentration, excellent timing, anticipation, positioning, and reading of the game. I am knowledgeable in rules of the game including team and individual strategy. I have very strong leadership skills on and off the field. Since starting travel soccer and High School soccer I have played the entirety of every game and bring a lot of energy to the field. In clutch situations I play where the coach needs me on the field. This past season I was given the Defensive Player of the Year award. Academically I took all the AP and Honor courses available my 8th grade and Freshman year in Jacksonville, IL. Since then I have been attending the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora, IL. IMSA is the highest ranked public school in the state. It is a highly selective boarding school for grades 10-12 for students that are gifted in STEM.
