I have been playing soccer since I could walk. At a very young age, I played recreational and competitive soccer till now. I have played for the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club for my age group and the age group above me; however, I stopped playing at the club because I had to transfer to a boarding school in Aurora, Illinois. Due to the long distance and living on a residential campus, I had to end my career with the club. Even though I couldn't play with the club, I continued to play on my high schools' soccer team. After I was on the Boys Freshman A-team at William Fremd High School during my freshman year, I played for the Boys Varsity Soccer team during my sophomore through senior year at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA). A special skill I have in soccer is my long throw-in.
Throughout my high school sports career, I also started to have an interest in volleyball. I started my freshman year on the Boys Junior Varsity team (only 3 freshman selected, including me) at William Fremd High School. Later, I made the Boys Varsity team at IMSA.
Although I love playing these two sports, I always had an interest in football. I watched the games every week and played Fantasy Football. However, I never got the chance to play on a team because I had to play soccer during the fall seasons of high school. On top of that, IMSA doesn't have a football team, so I never had the opportunity during my sophomore through senior year. I always wanted to try out my kicking skills on a football team. In June 2020, I started kicking footballs for the first time, and I made 30, 40, and 50 yard field goals consistently. I never got the football education and experience, so I know I can definitely kick from a farther distance and more accurately with the help and resources I can get. I am dedicated to put all my effort into becoming become a better player and person both on and off the field.
