I am originally from France and moved to the US a couple of years ago. The language barrier was a problem at first but as my parents decided to stay in the United States I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to stop being in my comfort zone and move to an American High School. In my freshman year of High School I got offered to be part of the IB Program, I was glad to accept this offer however my English was not perfect and my sophomore was a challenging year as I had to adapt to a competitive environment and the heavy workload. Now that I have entered my first year of full IB Program I am able to compete with other IB students that spoke English their whole life. I also strive to maintain a good physic as I love dedicating time to sports, I have always played sports mostly rugby, soccer, and martial arts. My dream in college would be to be challenged academically and athletically, this would mean a lot to me because education and soccer are the two things that surrounds my life.
