My name is Jose Martinez and I am 17 years old. I have been playing soccer since I was 5. My passion and love has always been big in and out the field. Soccer is more than just a sport in my family, we all value and love it. I broke my knee playing soccer at the age of 11 which ended my career for a good 4 years. I wasn't able to play it the same after my injury I got too tired and felt left behind compared to others level. On my current senior year I decided to give it my all on one last shot of having the soccer high school experience and proving to myself I can still compete and got potential. I played CB and earned my spot in the team and was always hungry for more time in the field And put it that hard work to achieve it. My team and I made it to the Noble League Final and although we lost this whole experience gave me the bravery to overcome the fear of getting injured again and proving to myself that I still got it in me. We played on the UnderArmor Tournament which gave me a good experience playing with high schools all over Illinois. I overall wish to play soccer in college for the funs of it and if the opportunity ever comes maybe make more out of it.
