Soccer has always been a massive part of my life, and my goals are to play collegiate and professional soccer. I aspire to one day see a little kid buy a jersey with my name on the back of it. I hope to find a college that can match me academically and help me pursue my soccer career.
I grew up an athlete, playing basketball, baseball, soccer, track, and cross country, but my main focus has always been soccer. I am constantly playing, whether for school, club, or any tournaments, indoor leagues, or pick-up games I may find myself in. This has shaped my game as a player, as I've learned to play different styles of soccer depending on the situation.
But when I'm not at the field, I like to run or spend time at church, where I sing and play my guitar for worship or volunteer with the little kids during Awana. My church, Anchor Church Palos, has taught me leadership, respect, responsibility, and encouragement. It taught me to effectively communicate with others, to respect those who are in authority over me, and to take responsibility for my actions. My involvement in my church has affected my performance on the field and in the classroom, where I push myself and strive to do my best in whatever I do. I also like to run, as I run long-distance track for high school and go on long runs whenever I am able. Running has helped my game greatly as my endurance is one of my strongest attributes, along with my soccer IQ and defense. All in all, I hope to attend a college that matches me academically and helps me pursue my soccer career.
