I'm Zander Croland, a senior attending Dunlap High School, in Dunlap IL with plans to graduate in 2022.
I started playing competitive soccer at the age of six years old and it has been my passion ever since. I have been competing to fulfill my plans of playing soccer at a collegiate level. Playing as a starting CAM/CDM for Central Illinois United Boys 2002 Copa, PFCU United, and Dunlap High School, I am adaptable with the majority of positions on the field.
I am a hardworking athlete on and off of the field. I maintain a 3.44 cumulative gpa while taking a majority of honors classes. I have taken all honors math and Spanish in my high school career so far. When it comes to extracurriculars, I have participated in the Federation of Christian Athletes in high school.
Each summer since my 8th grade year, I have been invited to perform through a variety of showcase camps such as EXACT Sports and Bradley University. During my experiences with the EXACT camp, feedback from collegiate level coaches included how I was very coachable, as well as how I use my assets of being big and fast on the field. I include myself in speed/agility training along with weight lifting to enhance my performance on the field.
I believe I would make a positive contribution to college soccer programs given the opportunity.
