I started playing soccer at six years old. I fell in love with the sport immediately and have always wanted to pursue a career in electrical engineering or architecture while competing at the collegiate level. Playing and studying in college would become an opportunity that I will take full advantage of.
In soccer I would describe myself as a versatile player who can play various positions like a defensive midfielder, fullback, and winger. I also have a high soccer IQ and can read and adapt to the game quickly. I may not be the biggest player on the field but I would consider myself the hardest worker and someone who plays with no fear. I may not have the captain armband, but I am a person who tries to lead my teammates on and off the field.
Soccer is a year round sport for me. I play club soccer for Chicago Magic and highschool soccer at West/East Leyden. Throughout my seasons I have been able to maintain a 4.3 GPA and participate as a leader in my school. I am a freshman mentor and part of a leadership advisory club at my school. I also have numerous community service hours.
Playing in college would mean being able to give back to my parents and would be a dream come true. I am open to all options but would ultimately settle for a college where I can pursue a degree in the fields of engineering or architecture (where I am interested in for now). I encourage any coach reading this to reach out to me if they are interested.
