Hello, my name Jose Angel Pizano and I'm a junior at St. Anne Community High school. I've learned a lot from my sophomore and freshman years and was able to progress my Sophomore year to a point of tripling my stats in goals and assists made. We lost regionals my freshman year however we were finally able to win a regional game my Sophomore year and made history for our school soccer program. Winning the first regional game for our school also came with a very scary incident. One of our players went into cardiac arrest as the game ended. The emotions of excitement changed to pure fear as the paramedics worked on our team mate. We all cried and huddled to pray. We prayed for the days to come. Thank fully he made a full recovery and what I gained from this experience is that we are so much more than just a team. We are family, we are brothers that rely on one another and that is what matters. I feel my mom lived a difficult childhood so that we wouldn't have to. She has had to overcome many things and break many cycles to be a good mom. She has taught me to be respectful, grateful, humble and is very encouraging, and supportive. She has definitely shaped me into the person I am today. My current goal for college is to play competitive soccer. All I want to do is play soccer, and I want to make this my career. Nothing sparks my interest other than soccer. I've been playing soccer since the age of 5 with my dad teaching me the basics. What makes me a good candidate for teams is my sheer love for the game and I'm willing to do anything to improve and learn on and off the field. I want as much playing time I can get to show coaches why I should be playing on their team. Thank you for taking your time to read and look over my profile.
