20222 SpotlightPersonal Statement
As a freshman, I started every game in 2022. Although midfield is my position of choice, my coach played me at center back (sweeper) because of my endurance, speed, and coachability. Although our record was not great this year, our team is on it's third coach in 3 years, and we are trying to build it back to being a strong program. Our schedule was tough and included several ranked teams. Although frustrating, playing that high level of competition regularly was a great learning experience for me. I look forward to being a part of our rebuild and I am very interested in playing college soccer when I graduate. I have grown to love the game and work hard to improve my skills.
