Peyton Carselowey '24 Recruiting Profile

When it comes to goalkeeping, I am unique. I spent my entire life playing on the field as a center-back. When I got a significant knee injury that kept me off the field for a year as a 14-year-old, my transition back into play was slow and careful. I was instructed to try to limit my running as much as I could, so I began taking games as a JV keeper purely due to my athleticism. I soon realized how much I loved the position. Next season, I earned the starting varsity position. That year I was awarded All-League Honorable Mention and we had the best season in our school’s history, finishing 4th in the state. The season after, I got both All-League and All-State Honorable Mention. This season, I finished with All-League First Team and All-State Second Team. What makes me special as a player is that I leave nothing up to chance. Everything is in control with regard to the effort and hard work that I’m willing to put in. I am a leader, a hard worker, and a great teammate who will dedicate my everything to the program that gives me a chance to play at the next level.
