I started playing soccer when I was three years old, and I have been in love with the game ever since. My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level; I know that does not come easy and I will have to work hard, but I am ready to take it head on.
It would be a dream come true to play soccer while furthering my education. My aspirations are to graduate with a degree in engineering.
As the captain of my high school soccer team for the past two years I have learned to be disciplined on and off the field. I communicate well and I strive to always lead by example. My upbringing and parent's love for the game and education heavily influenced me to be who I am today. I have learned that playing well and doing well are not the only thing needed, soccer is also a mental game. I have strengthened my mentality and grit through soccer and wrestling where I have been able to build my mental toughness; to persevere in the face of adversity. These skills directly help me strive, and achieve, my goals. I possess a fearless drive to go out and get the ball when needed and I have quick reflexes and reactions that allow me to be successful. My academic goals for high school is to maintain a 3.75+ GPA for the rest of high school, and continue to hold the same high standards for myself while in college.
