David Micu '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi. My name is David Micu. I have been playing soccer for about 8 years. I am a sophomore at South Lyon High School and have so far played GK two years on JV soccer team. I have had a strong passion for the game since about 4 years ago when I started to watch and take the game more seriously. My 21/22 sophomore season went well. We won all but 1 game and tied 2, We never let in more than 1 goal a game, and we only let in 7 goals in the season (15 games). I also received the Defensive MVP award for the JV team that season. I am a very ambitious goalkeeper who strives to become a better player, I do my best to improve in every training session and game, and I communicate with my players with encouragement. I make sure to prioritize my school and academics before anything else. My dream is to play for at least a pro or semi-pro club where I can win even more games and trophies.
