From the very beginning of my soccer career, I was told by many coaches & my family that I played the game how it is supposed to be played. My name is Aiden Dualan and I am a 2025 graduate.
For most of my life up until now I have always been known for being a nice, shy and quiet kid. It was recently that I realized I couldn’t always be like that. Speaking up for myself has always been difficult. When I was a kid my coaches used to tell me to that I needed to talk but I always thought why we are winning? I was playing well and being a team player. It wasn’t until recently, I was faced with a difficult challenge that made me realize it wasn’t enough. I have had to learn to use my voice and advocate for myself, something I continue to work on. Playing smart, being a team player & coachable are traits I take pride in.
My love for soccer began the moment I was born. I was being taken to all my sister’s games and by the time I could walk I was kicking a ball. I am academically focused on maintaining the Dean’s List. My goal is to play college ball at the highest level while pursuing my degree in business management & hopefully one day give back to all those who have helped me in the form of coaching the game I have come to love.
