Braden Buchanan '25 Recruiting Profile

My Dad often says that he never thought I would still be playing soccer after starting to play at the age of 4.  However, I fell in love with the game.  I've now been playing for over an decade and look forward to playing at the collegiate level.  Throughout the years, I've enjoyed playing both club and for my high school team.  I've also had the opportunity to travel abroad to England and Barcelona where I was able to play against teams in those areas.  

One of my favorite aspects of playing, is being a part of a team.  I understand this game is not about me, but about all of us fitting into our role to help our team reach our goals.  I also understand that I have a responsibility not only to myself, but to my coaches and my team to be the best version of myself.  My Coaches have often commented that one of my best attributes is that I'm coachable.  I love soaking up the knowledge from Coaches and applying it my game.  This has allowed me to be a versatile player, allowing me to excel playing at multiple positions (Center Midfielder, Attacking Center Midfielder, and Striker).
