Personal Statement
I am a kid from a very small town with almost zero attention from college scouts so I decided I would take my talents to play in the NJCAA division 2 soccer at Mineral Area College. Our program started off rough last year as we hadn’t won a game but I really got to hone my skills and really test myself against some of the best players I’ve ever faced, and as a freshman I came onto the team and ended up winning a starting spot. I believe I am a hard worker, and never give up on anything I’ve ever done. I played the #6 position in high school but my coach transferred me to the #7 position. He says my endurance as an athlete made me a perfect candidate to be out there, along with my calm headed ness on and off the ball. After playing this season, I plan to transfer over to a 4-year college and want to continue playing college soccer.
