Personal Statement

My soccer career began at the age of five and I have a genuine love for the game. Whether I’m practicing, conditioning or playing my heart out on the pitch during a regular season game or tournament, I am always competing with myself to be better than I was at the previous practice or game in the previous week or year. The job is NEVER done!

STRENGTHS & SKILLS
• High balls (I'm 6'5"!)
• Diving (Yep! Even at 6'5")
• Penalty/Shoot out
• Distribution
• Mobility/Body Control
• Spatial awareness
• TEAMWORK

EXPERIENCE:
For the last six years, I have played both on club teams and my high school team. Freshman year, I played reserve and three of the seven games as keeper ended in shootouts resulting in wins! Unfortunately, Sophomore year was sidelined to Covid but I came back strong my Junior year as a starter on JV and swinger for Varsity. To say that I am excited to be a starter for my 2022 high school varsity team is an understatement!

In addition to my weekly club and high school training, I work with personal goalie coach, Brian Holt, a 9-year professional goalkeeper who has played for Philadelphia Union (MLS), New York Cosmos (NASL), Jacksonville Armada (NASL), Louisville City FC (USL), and Harrisburg City Islanders (USL).

This game, and higher education, is so important to me -- but they also bring me great joy. The pitch is where I'm able to display my confidence, competitiveness, perseverance, resiliency and willingness to always be improving. Being able to combine higher learning and soccer, together, with my teammates is my athletic, academic and personal utopia.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
