From U11 to U14, the Nordic Cup gave most people on my team, including me, a hunted look in our eyes. Losing in the final, four years in a row, three of which to the same team, helped me develop as a team player. I learned that each year the defenders grew as players and people, although not always at the same rate as I did.
I think my greatest achievement is making the ODP Region I pool (2002) and, for three years in a row, the New Hampshire ODP State Team. Doing so in those three years built up my confidence, which was my main setback in my early years of playing soccer.
I am proud to be one of the four freshman selected for the JV team at Hanover High School, and I'm one of the fastest players on the team. I excel at 1 v. 1 situations, when I can take on the defender. One thing I can work on, is when I play on the wing, getting back and playing defense more efficiently when the opposing team has the ball in the attacking third.
My goals for academics are to pass all my classes with high expectations from my peers, family and those around me.
