Lucian Gleiser '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Lucian, a class of 2024 student at Hanover High School in NH who will also be completing a postgraduate year at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. I am very focused on academics as well as athletics, and I believe in hard work and determination above all else. I am a very driven and goal-oriented person, and if I truly want something, I will stop at nothing to achieve it. I love running in every way, from the 800 meter run all the way to ultramarathons. In September of 2021, I finished the Vermont 50k in the middle of the pack with no ultra training. Track and XC are my passion. I believe that one's team is their family, and that teamwork is essential to success. There is nothing I wouldn't do to improve myself, and I'm always pushing the limits of what I can do both academically and athletically. I have been a straight-A student since S2 of my Sophomore year, and for 2022 XC (my junior year season) I received both the Sportsmanship award and the Most Improved Athlete award. I have also earned the MIP (most important player) award for my Junior winter track season. I intend to bring excellence, team compassion and cooperation, and laser-focused determination to college.
