Ty Powell '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ty Powell and I am currently a senior attending St. Joseph Academy in Hammonton, New Jersey, where I am a dual sport athlete, playing both varsity soccer and baseball.   I have been playing both soccer and baseball since I was five years old.   My goal is to continue to play both sports at the collegiate level, and to graduate from a quality four year college.   In addition to playing sports, I have always been a good student, focused on achievement.   My current GPA is 4.5 and I am ranked #1 in my junior class.  I have been brought up in a loving, supportive family, and have been taught by my mother and father to value a good education, and to have high expectation of myself in all that I do.   Daily hard work, self discipline,  and dedication have been the key to success in all that I have achieved so far.  I intend to carry that same intensity and focus into college.   I can honestly assure any college coach that you will not be disappointed  if you recruit me to play at your college or university.   I am a hard worker, open to constructive criticism and am very coachable, always seeking to become a better version of myself.    I lead on and off the field by example, and am well respected by my teammates.   I view every day as an opportunity to improve myself as a person, a student and an athlete, and to strive to accomplish my goal of playing at the collegiate level.
