Bryson Petrina '24 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with playing soccer at a young age. I looked forward to every practice, learning new skills, and scoring. Playing on my travel team, exposed me to more aspects of the game. I am diverse in my ability, offensively and defensively, but in high school, I have settled into the poisiton of center back and center defensive mid. I have become a strong defensive player. I love the ability to control the game from the back and feed my teammates. I am very vocal and communicate on the field. Working with our offense, I use my positioning and vision to see the best path up the field, always trying to set up our front line and strikers to score. Even though I am passionate about the game and strive to lead, I am extremely coachable. I have more skills and game situations to learn and master. I always display the utmost respect for my coaches and teammates. As for my collegiate goals, they are to achieve a degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or sports management, and to conitnue to feed my love for soccer.
