Hi, I'm Michael Giannella and I go to Kinnelon High School in Northern New Jersey, class of 2020. I first started playing soccer when I was about 4 years old. I played for the local recreation league. I went on to play for The Kinnelon Soccer Club (Flight 1), which is part of the Morris County Youth Soccer Association League. I also played for the Kinnelon Middle school team in 7th and 8th grade, as an 8th grader I was Team Captain. I started my high school career in 2016 and made varsity as a freshman. This past winter I continued to train with a personal trainer that focused on ball control and finishing. What I believe makes me unique is that I am a student athlete, a very hard worker and someone who is always setting goals. I am always thinking about the "then what". I not only take my academics very seriously, but I am also a member of the Future Business Leaders of America Club at my school, as well as community service for my Church. I work out everyday during the off-season and stay in top form. I stay away from all the partying and potential situations than can get me in trouble and jeopardize future opportunities. If I'm not on the field, or studying for tests or hanging out with friends, I'll be watching soccer with my dad or grandpa or sometimes by myself. I am always improving as a player mentally and physically because there is always room for improvement. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Please contact me with any other questions.
