I've been playing soccer for what seems my entire life, exclusively since I quit baseball at around 13 and I can't imagine my life without an intimate link to soccer. I don't currently have any aspirations of playing soccer professionally, but I do feel that I am talented enough to play college soccer and can contribute to any program at any level and any style of play. My father and others around me who played sports while attending top universities have shared their experiences with me of how dramatically athletics in college enhanced their experiences and forever changed their lives, and I am determined to do all I can to follow in their footsteps through my college soccer career.
I consider myself a student of the game. One of my favorite parts about soccer is analyzing games and breaking down the various play-styles found throughout the world. I use my ability to deduce the game to play a simple, calculated, analytical style of soccer that would help any team I played for. I plan to take these traits into whatever career path I choose.
I am looking for a college or university that can offer the necessary balance of quality between the academic and soccer programs.
