Ryan Stewart '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always been very passionate about the game of soccer. I am looking forward to playing soccer at the collegiate level, while also working hard on getting a degree in my field of study. I think I would be a great addition to any team in need of a defender because I am hard working, fast to the ball, very coachable, and take pride in giving 100% daily. I believe I am a very versatile player, with the ability to play outside back or center back in many different formations as well as mid-fielder when needed. I have always been a team first type of player and have a first to practice and last to leave mindset. I always have a positive attitude at games and practices and work hard to stay conditioned throughout the year by being a 3-sport varsity athlete. In the offseason, I continue to train by running and lifting at the gym to improve my strength.

In High School, I was a 4-year letterman, team captain my senior year, and 2-time All-league player my Junior and Senior year. I was also awarded The Unsung Hero Award by the BCBSCA for the 2022 season.
