Personal Statement
Coach, for as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of playing college soccer (and perhaps beyond) and now that I can see the event horizon, I become more and more excited every day. I will be a great fit for your team because I am comfortable in nearly every field position and you will be hard pressed to find a player with more determination and positive attitude. My primary roles are forward/attacking midfield and am best known for my aggressiveness, field awareness, ball/body control and finishing.
While my thoughts are constantly on the game, my priority is education. My family has always insisted that school comes first. Since day one school has been put above everything else. My talent extends outside of the game. I started wrestling my freshman year to build my strength, balance, and ability to hold off defenders. My conditioning is year round and I even incorporate surfing in the summer to stay in shape and improve my body control. It may not be unique but the player I most admire is Sergio Aguero with his fast touch and quick acceleration with control of the ball.
