Bennett Mayer '25 Recruiting Profile

As a player, I bring heart, leadership, and a continuous drive to succeed. Whether I am supporting my teammates during a match or pushing myself to the limit in training, I thrive under pressure and refuse to settle for anything less than my best. My versatility allows me to adapt to any role on the field; however, as the center back I typically control and lead the defensive line.

Off the pitch, I am a dedicated student, balancing my academic pursuits with my athletic ambitions. I understand the importance of time management and prioritization, striving for excellence in everything I do. Whether it is my academics, extracurricular activities, athletics, or training, I approach every challenge with the same focus and determination. As a student with a 4.0 GPA, I am very interested in studying Civil Engineering in college. At my high school, I am a three season athlete, National Honor Society member, and Peer Leader, amongst other extracurricular activities. 

As I look ahead to the next chapter of my soccer journey, I am eager to join a team where I can continue to grow, learn, and contribute both on and off the field. Beyond the physical aspect, soccer has taught me the importance of collaboration and leadership. As a captain of both my club and high school teams, I have embraced the responsibility of motivating and guiding my teammates towards collective success through effective communication and leading by example.
