My name is Stefan Lichtenheim, and I am a sophomore in high school currently residing in New Jersey. I play competitive soccer for New York Soccer Club in the MLS NEXT league, where I am the attacking midfielder. I consider myself extremely competitive, which has yielded personal growth and has allowed me to set bigger goals and reach great achievements in my life. I strive for excellence, and I am always hungry for more.
I have been playing soccer since I can remember, and I have had a blast every step of the way. I started by playing for my town and eventually progressed to play club soccer for World-Class F.C. At this club, I attended national team training camps, trained with New York City Football Club, and increased my technical abilities. I played for World-Class through the earliest possible ages of the DA until the operation was ultimately transitioned to MLS NEXT.
What differentiates me from the other athletes you are surveying are my motley of skills and useful techniques, combined with my insatiable appetite for growth, development and improvement. Good is never enough. My goals and aspirations include playing for a competitive school while receiving a first-class education. I have confidence in my abilities and strongly believe I can be a great asset to any collegiate program. I have so much more to learn and contribute.
