Dean Mauriello '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches,

My name is Dean Mauriello a 2025 RB playing out of STA as well as Summit High School. I am seeking a school with a high level of academics and a great soccer program whatever division that falls into. I currently am a Junior playing at the ECRL level on a U19 team as well as a starter on my high school team. In the club and high school environment, I have strived as a technical right back helping the teams I am on build up the attack and facilitate plays from the outside. My many years of playing the game of soccer has also helped me gain great positioning and defensive ability to keep the team's threats managed. Thankfully my hard work day in and out has shown some success. For high school I helped my team win a state championship my freshman year and have been a vital player on it ever since, this year helping the team win a sectional chip as a starter. In club, I have also achieved success being able to compete at a high level winning countless tournaments -including State cup- and important games along the way. In the classroom, I try to achieve just as much. Throughout my youth, I was always a straight-A student, and carrying into high school I have taken the hardest classes offered maintaining good grades as well. I have also achieved outside of sole grades such as my perfect AP Exam, my top rank in the AMC math test, and top test scores. Outside of school, I have spent time helping my school community while also exploring my interest in computer science and raising awareness for ALS. I seek a school that matches this affinity in both academics and athletics where I will be pushed to be the best in both facets.
