I fell in love with soccer since the day I started at 3 years old. In middle school I wanted to play at a higher level because of inspirations like Lionel Messi and Kevin De Bruyne. These player were so good and I wanted to be like them. This aspiration to be the best has made me work hard and made me resilient to failures. I joined a higher level team In the club Rio Rapids during covid-19. Eventually I became a captain and leader for my team helping us win 3 tournaments in 1 season. I also brought this hard work into school witch has in turn boosted my grades. I have kept a 3.7-4.0 GPA through out my time in high school. My goals for college are to be on a high level team for soccer and do other extra curriculars like chess and recreational football. I also want to keep my grades high throughout colleges so I can finish school with high honors. I think that soccer is a very good tool for teaching resilience and hard work as they have been ingrained into my life. It is theses attributes that make me better on and off the field day in and day out.
