Jake Pier '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Pier and I am a setter from New Mexico. I may not be in your radar - (yet!), because men's volleyball is relatively new sport in NM. Growing up I played every sport possible (soccer, basketball, baseball and flag football) but as soon as I started playing volleyball, I fell in love with the sport and have found success with it! 

I am playing for a highly competitive club team called E3VB and our coach Christa Faris played for the Canadian National Team. My team last year (ARVC) took 5th in the Nationals in Salt Lake City and I received an All-Tournament Award. I also qualified for Beach Nationals in Florida - we didn't do quite as well, but I learned a ton. I live and breathe volleyball and besides our regular training for indoor, I compete in as many local tournaments as I can. I am still growing and love to play volleyball more than anything else in life.
