First Recruitment...Personal Statement
For the entirety of my life I have had a ball at my feet. Although at certain points it felt like I was losing my passion, I always endured. After one mediocre club season, I had the opportunity to join the debut varsity soccer team at my high school that changed my trajectory: my stats, confidence, and leadership. I was the captain of my varsity team and helped lead them to the quarterfinals. We were 6-1 going into playoffs and conceded to penalty kicks with the 4th seed NYC team. I believe this experience speaks to my perseverance and my ability to get through hard times. I will always will be willing to take the extra step to succeed. I have a 4.0 junior year GPA and will continue on a path towards more growth and greater accomplishments.
