I started playing soccer at four years old, I was never a standout athlete, and I never knew that I could fall in love with something the way I did with becoming a goalkeeper. As a soccer player being a goalie is all I've ever known, its where I thrive as a player and it's taught me many important parts of life. Being a goalie has taught me that no matter how hard you try at something, things can still go wrong. However this is the reason I strive to be the best version of myself every single day. I take pride in myself for being an extremely hard worker, whether that is on the pitch, or in the classroom. My position holds an extreme amount of pressure on myself to be the backbone of the team and have the voice to lead my teammates towards success, which I know that I am very capable of and will keep improving upon.
